The glorious Stephanie Canada has thrown down the gauntlet – challenging brave souls to make the vintage Butterick 6015 walkaway dress, and see who can make it the fastest (spoiler, it will not be me! I barely know what I’m doing)

But I am up for the challenge, and in this part 1 video, I am working out how to make this pattern fit my very short and very not vintage body. To my surprise the parts I thought would be the hardest turned out to be easy, and the parts I didn’t even know would be an issue became the hardest parts to figure out.
